The Seven-Day Mental Diet

The food you furnish your mind determines the character of your life.

The subjects you allow your mind to dwell upon, make your surroundings what they are.

Everything in your life today - the state of your body, the state of your fortune, the state of your home, the present condition of every phase of your life - is entirely conditioned by the habitual tone of your past thinking. The condition of your life next week, and next year, will be conditioned by the thoughts and feelings that you entertain from now onward.

In other words, YOU CHOOSE YOUR LIFE!

Thought is the real causative force in life, there is no other.
You cannot have one kind of mind and another kind of environment.
You cannot change your environment while leaving your mind unchanged.
This is the real key to life; if you change your mind your conditions must change too.
Your body must change, your activities must change; your home must change;
the color-tone of your whole life must change.

And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...
(Romans 12:2)

This may be the GREAT COSMIC LAW

The practical difficulty in applying it arises from the fact that our thoughts are so close to us that it is difficult, with out a little practice, to stand back and look at them objectively. Yet, that is what you must learn to do. You must train yourself to choose the subject of your thinking at any given time, and also to choose the emotional tone.

If you are not determined to start in now and carefully select all day the kind of thoughts that you are going to think, you may as well give up all hope of shaping your life into the kind of thing that you want it to be.

To train yourself in the habit of thought selection will be difficult for the first few days, but it is the most interesting experiment that you could possibly make. You will be amazed at the things that you will learn about yourself. This week may be the most significant week in your whole life; not only will you be able to face your present difficulties in a better spirit, but the difficulties will go. You cannot change conditions directly – you have often tried to do so and failed – but go on the seven-day mental diet and conditions MUST change for you.

The way to start on a Seven-Day Mental Diet is to BEGIN NOW.

This is your Seven-Day Mental Diet prescription

For seven days you must not allow yourself to dwell for a moment on
any kind of negative thought.

You must watch yourself for a week and must not under any pretense allow your mind to dwell on any thought that is not positive, constructive, optimistic, kind.

This discipline will be so strenuous that you could not maintain it consciously for much more than a week, but a week will be enough, because by that time the habit of positive thinking will begin to be established. Some changes for the better will have come into your life, encouraging you enormously, and then the new way of life will be so attractive that you will find your mentality aligning itself almost automatically.

What is meant by negative thinking?
A negative thought is any thought of failure, disappointment, or trouble; any thought of criticism, or spite, or jealousy, or condemnation of others, or self-condemnation; and thought of sickness or accident; or, in short, any kind of limitation. In practice you will never have any trouble in knowing whether a thought is positive or negative. Even if your brain tries to deceive you, your heart will whisper the truth.

It is not the thoughts that come to you that matter, but only such of them as you choose to entertain and dwell upon. Many negative thoughts will come to you all day long. Some will be given to you by other people, or you will hear disagreeable news. These things, however, do not matter so long as you do not entertain them.

Red Hot Cinder Analogy
An analogy is furnished by the case of a man who is sitting by an open fire when a red hot cinder flies out and falls on his sleeve. If he blows that cinder off at once, without a moment's delay to think about it, no harm is done. But, if he allows it to rest on him for a single moment, under any pretense, the mischief is done, and it will be a troublesome task to repair that sleeve. So it is with a negative thought.

Rock On
People often find that the starting of this seven-day mental diet seems to stir up difficulties. It seems as though everything begins to go wrong at once. This may be disconcerting, but it is really a good sign. Suppose your whole world seems to rock on its foundations. Hold on steadily, let it rock, and when the rocking is over, the picture will have reassembled itself into something much nearer to your heart's desire.

Do NOT tell anyone else that you are on a mental diet.
Remember that your soul should be the Secret Place of the Most High. When you have secured your new mentality, then tell the story to anyone else whom you think is likely to be helped by it.

Meditation
There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer; no disease that enough love will not heal;
no door that enough love will not open; no gulf that enough love will not bridge;
no wall that enough love will not throw down; no sin that enough love will not redeem.
It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble, how hopeless the outlook, how muddled the tangle,
how great the mistake; a sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.

This is a mental practice, not a physical action. This refers to changing of one's thought when faced with error, changing from the error to the Truth – and , as a rule, it acts like magic.

It will sometimes happen that you will find yourself in company where the conversation is very negative, sickness and trouble being described and dwelt upon at great length, or perhaps uncharitable statements made concerning absent people. For various reasons it may be difficult for you to withdraw, and if so your duty is clear – you must mentally “turn the other cheek” and thus help both the speakers and their victims.

YOUR OWN CONCEPT IS WHAT YOU SEE

If, when someone is behaving badly, instead of thinking of the trouble, you will immediately switch your attention off from the human to the Divine, and concentrate upon the Real Spiritual Self of the person in question, you will find – if you really do this – that his conduct will immediately change.

THE SECRET OF HANDLING DIFFICULT PEOPLE

Remember, they are not doing it to you...they are just doing it.

If people are troublesome, you have only to change your thought about them, and then they will change too, because your own concept is what you see. This is the true revenge. It has been tried thousands and thousands, perhaps millions of times, and it never fails when properly carried out. It is often quite amusing to see it acting like clockwork. If somebody comes into the room at home, or into the office or shop, or anywhere else, looking as if he meant to make trouble, just try switching you attention straight off to the Divine, instead of sparring up aggressively to meet the difficulty or shrinking away to avoid it, according to your temperament. You will be amused and gratified to see the anger fade away from the subject's face (which will mean it has faded from his hear too and quite different expression take its place. You may find it helpful in the beginning to glance away from him while giving yourself this “treatment,” but with a little practice you will be able, so to speak, to look through him to the Truth of Being (the same spark of consciousness that is in you is in them and is in the God of your understanding).

When you find yourself in difficulties, you should pray for harmony and freedom, and expect to get it; but you should not seek to select the exact arrangement that will come about, or the course that things will take.

This exerpt is worth sharing on this day of Thanksgiving. As we give "thanks" and "giving" attention today I am reminded of how many may not see the wonderful things all around them. Their minds are flooded with self-defeating emotions of worry, fear, excuses, gossip, self-pity, hopelessness, comparison, complaint, criticism, selfishness, negative thoughts and words that reflect all the pain they suffer with needlessly....If they only knew....read on...

"It is Blessed to be Persecuted as the Result of Our Right Thinking...All this is indeed very startling, and it is perfectly correct; only we have to understand that the source of all this persecution is none other that our own selves. No outside persecutor, but only our own lower selves.

When we find rightousness or right thinking very difficult - when we are very strongly tempted to hold the wrong thoughts about some situation, or some person, or about ourselves; to give way to fear, or anger, or despondency - then we are being persecuted for rightousness' sake, and this is for us an extremely fortunate or blessed condition, for it is in such moments that we are really advancing.

Every spiritual treatment or scientific prayer involves a tussle with our own lower self, which wishes to indulge the old habit of thought, and, in fact, persecutes and reviles us - if we like to put the thing dramatically in the Oriental way. All the great Prophets and Enlightened Ones of the race who ultimately overcame, did so by just such struggles with themselves, when they were being persecuted by their own lower natures, or the Old Adam.

Jesus himself, "who was tempted in all respects like as we are," had to meet this "persecution" more than once; especially in the Garden of Gethsemane, and, for a few moments, on the Cross itself. Now, since these combats with the lower self have to be fought out sooner or later, and so, relatively speaking, they are great blessings.

Note carefully that there is no virtue or advantage whatever in being persecuted or annoyed by other people. Nothing can come into our experience unless it finds something in us with which it is attuned: and so, to have trouble and difficulty is only a sign that our own mentality needs clearing up; for what you see at any time is nothing but your own concept.

We get only what belongs to us at any time, and nobody can prevent our getting that; and so all persecution and hindrance are absolutely from within.

How many times have we become so attached to the outcome or time table of events that we actually sabotage the experience? I know I have done this on many occasions. It is neither good nor bad but merely a life lesson that has not been learned yet.

"The Master of Manifestation"

When my friend Kevin Trudeau asked another master of manifestation how he felt about making important decisions, this billionaire replied, "I care, but not too much." This harmonizes with what John Berry wrote, "The bird of paradise alights only upon the hand that does not grasp." When you truly understand the art of manifestation, you realize that everything in your life is a result of flow.

"By flow, I mean a steady state of vibrations that you emit as a result of the things you think about most of the time."

Think it and you will feel it. Feel it and you'll vibrate and magnetize identical vibrations in return. Once you've accomplished this satisfactorily, you need not concern yourself with the when, why, or how. Oh yes, you care, but not too much. The reason being, you never doubt the outcome.

"Having a burning desire doesn't mean a willful coerciveness, attempting to force the universe to comply with your time table."

The more you relax, the faster the manifestation. Your sole responsibility is to encourage the exhilarating, electrifying, galvanizing, and thrilling emotions which charge your mental template and transmit the impression to the universal force field. It is from this that manifestation occurs.
There is a great scientific truth behind classic works like James Allen's As A Man Thinketh, Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich, and others penned on this theme. According to quantum physics, the universe is a simple reflection of a far deeper order. The celebrated physicist David Bohm received a shattering insight from watching a BBC television program. The show demonstrated a drop of ink being placed in a jar full of glycerin and a cylinder inside the jar turned, at which point the drop appears to spread out and disappear. However, turn the handle in the opposite direction and the drop reappears. From this, Bohm developed his theory of enfolded and unfolded realities.

Or simply stated, the manifest reality we live and work in, and the invisible matrix from which all things come.

"If Bohm's research is correct, then as he concluded, consciousness is a subtle form of matter."

It's another step beyond the subatomic world of electrons, etc. While physicists were confounded by the electron being both a wave of vibration and a particle, and shape shifting according to the impact of the observer, they discovered an electron can "feel" the presence of a magnetic field - even if the scientist could not locate the electron.

Do not overlook the fact that every thought you think is electromagnetic, and the more emotional "juice" you apply to your thoughts, the more you become the master of manifestation. Your emotions are like sound waves in a deep ocean. The more intensity, passion, and fervor you apply, the more e-motive power is applied. The ocean of manifestation now has its handle turned and the enfolded or invisible now manifests as an unfolded reality.

"According to physics' new revelations, the mind is instantly everywhere."

Even to say "instantly" is incorrect. That implies travel. Consciousness doesn't travel; it is only accessed by degrees. The famous Dr. Wilder Penfield wrote, "To suppose that consciousness or mind has location is a failure to understand neurophysiology."

We're unconscious simply because we match the measure of our habit groove. Our mental habits determine how the mind interprets reality. Mind is the world of quantum reality. The mind is the bow, thought is the arrow, while the pounds of pull are determined by the degree of emotion applied. Once released, there's nothing much to do. So when the billionaire said, "I care, but not too much," he knew beyond doubt that if his aim or intention was on target - meaning he cared about his aim - once he let it fly, it was now up to the universe. So, why care too much?

"Our job is to focus our attention on what we choose to have happen."

We internalize and emotionalize and thus, we make intention conscious. We then draw the people and conditions we sought to manifest into our lives. According to the earlier writings of Hill, "It is the author's belief that the mind is made up of the same universal 'fluid' energy as that which constitutes the ether which fills the universe.

It is a fact as well known to the layman as to the man of scientific investigation, that some minds clash the moment they come in contact with each other, while other minds show a natural affinity for each other. Between the two extremes of natural antagonism and natural affinity growing out of the meeting or contacting of minds there is a wide range of possibility for varying reactions of mind upon mind."

"These reactions of 'mind upon mind' led Napoleon Hill to understand the power of the Master Mind."

When two focused, like-minded individuals come together with a vision, a goal to accomplish, they create by mental energy a third mind, considered by some to be a conscious entity, a magical genie or the mastermind. The incredible wealth and success the master of manifestation receives is almost always because he or she has become a member of a mastermind alliance. If two minds create a third, how many minds does it take to change a world? Personally, I care, but not too much, since the vibrations have been set and the end is reflected by the means. We have incredible power as masters of manifestation, thereby creating a universal mastermind for the good of all.

What is the saying about "doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome"....not sure if I got that exactly right, but that could be a great definition for INSANITY!

When we force situations or become anxious about how things will play out in our experience, are we not creating the block to that experience by repelling it with the opposite energy that causes manifestation? YES we are.

When we continue to hope, try, and plead for the end result to be a certain way, are we not supporting the notion that the outcome may not turn out the way we want it, therefore we are expecting that we will not get what we desire? YES we are.

When you are faced with challenging times that do not seem to fit the pretty little picture your life is supposed to look like...

When you are shocked because what happens to you does not match what you cut out of a magazine and pasted on your vision board...

When you are sure you are viewing someone else’s drama and life crisis, but not your own...

When you parade around giving advice to everyone about staying positive and being hopeful in spite of the circumstances that could never happen to you...

When you act as if the changes necessary are to be made by someone else and not you...

When you think that if you ignore it for a while it will go away or just miraculously work itself out...

When you ask for forgiveness for your bad behavior and cannot seem to forgive another...

When you look at your neighbor and think 'thank god I am not them' but return to your home which is just as bad or worse...

When you are in denial, in denial, in denial...the safe place where nothing is required to change or shift and you accept that nothing will change or shift, yet you stay there and complain, criticize, and control...

It might be. It could be. But it absolutely doesn't HAVE to be. Nor "should" it be.

I've been reading some member profiles and forum posts this morning and it's interesting to me that -- right here in our own Liberty League community -- there are some people who seem determined to hold views and thoughts like:

-- "I know it's going to be hard work"
-- "I know that I've got a lot to learn to be successful"
-- "I'm very worried about my retirement"
-- "I haven't made my training sales yet but I'm excited about the business"
-- "I'm enjoying the challenges that Liberty League offers"
-- etc.

Let's be clear on this. You don't get what you want in this business; you get what you ARE. And if you're determined to focus on what you don't have instead of what you want....then you'll continue to get more of what you're currently experiencing.

-- If you think it's going to be hard work....it'll be hard work.
-- If you think you've got a lot to learn to be successful.....then you'll have to learn a lot.
-- If you're worried about your retirement...life will make sure you get to keep worrying about it.
-- Why would someone actually identify themselves as someone who "hasn't made any sales yet"??
-- If you adopt the mindset that you enjoy challenges, you'll always have a lot of challenges to enjoy

Some reading this will think I'm being harsh. And perhaps I am. But it's because it's so tiring to see people invalidating themselves!

It's irritating! It's frustrating! It's aggravating! And it does absolutely NOTHING to move you forward to your goals.

Too many people have adopted the idea that massive success requires one to overcome huge obstacles and to break through massive barriers. While that might be true for some other people, that doesn't mean that has to be your experience. In fact, the TRUTH is that your success could be as easy as a walk in the park. But only if you'll allow it.

Watch your language. If you're still talking like you did before you came into Liberty League, then you've missed out on a LOT of lessons. Pay attention to how top earners in this community speak. There are certain words you'll rarely (never?) hear them use. There are certain phrases you'll never hear them say. And you'll never hear them invalidating themselves or their ability to succeed!

If you want what leaders have, do what they do. Learn to speak with strength and confidence.

Evict ANY words or language from your life that disempower you.

And this is especially true on the Internet. Everything said here is here for a long time. Years. Do you really want to make a permanent record of a mindset that's keeping you stuck?

Think about it.

And, again, if this sounds brash, it's because there's often a difference between what people want to hear and what they need to hear. If you find that this article is causing you to be angry, frustrated or hurt........then why not stop and ask why that is. Is it possible that you've been holding a mindset that's not serving you? Is it possible that you've been talking about yourself in a way that's disempowering?

Your success doesn't have to be "triumphant". It can be as simple as changing how you see yourself, talk about yourself and move in your business.

Think about it.

Facing Times Of Uncertainty

In facing times of uncertainty it is easy to jump on the wagon with the rest of the crowd and head to Doomsville, especially with the media pouring their fear ladden suggestions to panic and shiver in your shoes about what is coming next.

I say WAKE UP PEOPLE and stop playing the victim role.

Start taking control of your thinking!! Do you really think for yourself or do you follow the media hype? Are you really convinced that filling your mind and thoughts of fear of the future is best for your success in life?

MAKE A CHOICE....are you going to follow the masses and choose to live in fear or are you going to create something bigger and more fulfilling.

Why not?

Intentional Focus on Joyfulness

Grandfather White Elk teaches us that most of the suffering we undergo is self-induced, a figment of the imagination that paints scenarios of what it fears. He says it is certainly possible to create wealth based on fear; people do this all the time. He reminds us, however, that what is created with fear as its foundation will generate and support more fear-based thinking, and this will rob it of its potential to be joyful and freeing. Fear of the future and regret about the past are what cause most of the suffering we endure. We prejudge the moment, without allowing its true meaning and full potential to emerge. The path of joy is thereby lost to us. It is also the case that if we are riding a wave of excitement over a belief we have in a certain outcome, the consequences are the same. In fact, Grandfather White Elk says there is no energetic difference between the motives we hold based on fear and the motives we hold based on excitement. Both motives are based on what we imagine about the future. The path of joy is one forged in what is real and true for us in any present moment, even if that moment is painful. In every now, our access to what is joyful is fully available to us. Every present moment beckons us with this very simple choice: will we choose based on our fear of uncertainty, or will we choose based on what is real and actualize-able now? If what we choose to bring into our lives is to deliver freedom, fun, ease and delight, it must be created from an intentional focus on these important essences.

You are on the right path when you live and do what you love.

The world needs you to find your place to present your gift to the community.

Each event that gently pushes you or violently catapults you toward your PLACE is necessary for your purpose and delivery of your services to the world.

Perfect example of how effective prayer is when praying with the FEELING of that we wish to create, thus bringing about desired change as if it has already happened.

Hi Susan,
I have read the information in your web site and signed up to your take a chance make it happen site. I live on the Central Coast of Queensland, Australia so at this time of the day was reluctant to make a call to you. Basically I believe that I fit all the criteria that your looking for. I do have a desire to succeed, I do want to be financially free and I want to be the best that I can be and make the most out of my life.

I work for a mining company as a sales exe and for them I have been very successful, however it does come a price. I have travelled quite a lot of the world, but I am away from home a lot more then I want to be and I no longer enjoy the travel, in fact I now cringe at the thought of it as all I picture is living out of a motel room a world away from the people who mean the most to me. I need to turn the driving ambition I have to succeed for my company into a driving ambition to succeed for myself.

I am very well paid and enjoy the many benefits that being a successful salesman in my company has to offer, and now have a lifestyle that match’s my income. I guess I’ve wanted something else for a long time as I’m not happy at work, so I have increased my dept to give me a need to go to work and be successful. But lately I have been doing a lot of soul searching and now understand that I am really not happy with a lot of the things that I have in my life. I really do feel that I’m built for bigger things and would welcome the challenge of doing something for myself rather then for “the company.”

Money itself has no essence. As human beings we search for essence not money.

For example, I search for freedom, travel, adventure, connection, higher guidance, liberation, and fun. If my daily work does not include an aspect of essence, I will feel unfulfilled regardless of how much money I make.

Here is some advice that has served me well....

....Do not complain about what you have created, but appreciate that you created it and the dream has moved on. Start the day creating with the new dream in mind. Fill every moment you can with the essence you desire and you will create a new path for yourself in line with your new dream and honor your soul’s desire for essence.....

Doing the Right Thing vs. Guilt and Obligation

I thought I would share this article with

by a few I respect and admire.

Have you ever noticed that when you've done something for someone because you felt guilted into it, whether by yourself or them, that it didn't benefit either of you in the end? Think back and notice times in your life when you made a decision to do something because you “had” to, and not because you felt it was the right thing to do or had the guidance to do. Guilt and obligation are both negative energies, so the only outcome that could result is a negative one. Even when you have the INTENTION to want to help, but you do so because you will feel guilty if you don't, it will end up being a lose/lose for both of you.

The contrasting affect is, when we do something because we know it is the right thing to do, it benefits BOTH sides. Doing what we know in our heart is right ALWAYS results in a double blessing. Doing the right thing may not be fun, convenient, or something we would choose to do if a certain need didn't exist, but when you look back after the fact, you feel good inside...which is healthy for you, and those you've helped feel the love and care shown by your efforts, which obviously is healthy for them.

This reminds me of a lecture given by Dr. Wayne Dyer. He spoke of a study that showed a rather dramatic boost in the immune system in individuals who were the receivers of an act of kindness. In addition, they discovered the one who performed the act of kindness also had a boost in their immune system...and even an observer of this kind act showed a strengthening in their immune system. This proves, as if we needed proof, that by doing the right thing really does make a difference, in more ways than we ever knew.

Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't tie in forgiveness here. When you forgive others, it most definitely is “doing the right thing” as the benefits to you are tremendous. When you harbor anger and are unforgiving of ourselves or another, it leads to an acid environment in our body. Acid thoughts create acid in the body. Cancer can only survive in an acid environment. Anger releases high voltage toxic chemicals inside your body, contributing to heart disease. It also pulls calcium from your bones and joints, resulting in arthritis and osteoporosis... the brain shuts down making it impossible to think clearly. Do you see all the dis-ease that is caused by these toxic thoughts? Do you see the damage you are doing to yourself when holding on to the pain and anger from the past? This is why, FORGIVENESS (letting go of anger) is so HEALING...and is most definitely “doing the right thing” for everyone involved. :)

Hi Susan,

I love your story. I too came from a family much like yours. Single mom raising four kids. There was never any money to do anything special but I always knew there was a better way.

I love how you have tied your story in with Beyond Freedom. I have to say that is very unique. Most LLI people only preach about the money. I am glad to see that you aren't following that path.

I was with LLI for more than a year and bought the leads they said to buy, placed the ads they said worked, bought more leads that were supposed to be better than the last. Went to all the training calls hoping to get the missing piece to prosperity.

It wasn't until I found On Stage Marketing that I found that missing piece. I am glad for my time with LLI and I believe that Beyond Freedom may have saved my life (I was very depressed) but I am also glad to be free from LLI.

You see, I now know that I just didn't know how to be a marketer. Like you I didn't have the skills. The training that LLI provides is great but it doesn't work for most people. If it is working for you, I say hurray! But I also see that you are doing something not in line with their teachings by promoting the product instead of the business.

Good For You!

You may want to think about sending people to a different website than the company's self replicated site. Something more along the lines of promoting the product.

Thank you for the info. It was very helpful. I did go to your website.

I know that not everyone succeeds with LLI and that's Okay. Not everyone can develop themselves sufficiently to lead a team. Things that work for some will never work for another and it has nothing to do with the skill but who you are BEING at the time. When you are coming from desperate circumstances and holding a victim mindset, you will remain there until a shift is made.

I don't blame the system but encourage everyone to take responsibility for their own mindset and actions. Doing this will bring forward the successful leaders and leave the rest behind.

I believe my choice to focus on the Beyond Freedom product is in perfect alignment with the company and its teachings. It is the foundation to everything else in LLI. It is the primary tool to help people out of victim-hood and into the driver seat of their life. It should be talked about.

Beyond Freedom has helped me in many ways, even though most of it I had heard before through other personal development strategies. I encourage its use with my entire team because it delivers the leaders and yes leaves behind the victims that cannot be saved from themselves.

My only purpose is to demonstrate the leadership by being a leader.

Evolving Truth

Sounds strange but essential to all of humanity when it comes to interpreting our reality. What we think is true now may change later on.

Look at the time when the world was thought to be flat. Consider the time we thought the world was round? Wait, don't we still believe this? What if it isn't?

Science and technology are changing the way we perceive the world on a regular basis. Quatnum theory is now quantum physics based on scientific evidence that was not part of global consciousness just one hundred years ago.

So, why then is the statement Evolving Truth so unsettling to us?

I think it is because we must be prepared to change our position and reset our beliefs frequently to deal with constant changes in truth and the new evolving reality of the world we live in. This can be challenging to many people set in their ways.

Evidence of Abundance & Prosperity

Here is my evidence of prosperity that showed up in my practice. As you can imagine... not many patients are dropping huge amounts of cash in my office right now....so the events that transpired were a bit exciting to witness, although I am not surprised because I asked for it.

One week ago I made an intentional statement in my journal after reading my porsperity prayer, that I would make and extra $3000 this week. No patient was on the schedule that I could have foreseen doing this.

A new patient, referred by another DC, paid an advance payment of $5000 for my services.

This is evidence of abundance flowing even in this economy.

I am grateful and plan to give her excellent service worth double what she paid!

The Subconscious Mind and Affirmations

Many of us are using affirmations like the following:

I am a millionaire
I have coastal home
I am a successful author
I am perfectly healthy and well

However, if any of the above are not a current reality for you, then you are creating a conflict with your conscious mind. You are making a statement that you do not believe is true because you are not experiencing it in your outer world. The conscious mind is in direct conflict with your statement.

Regardless of how many times you say your affirmation....you will continue to experience nothing at all that resembles your statement in your outer world.

So, what do we do? I have found that we can do one of two things.

1. Make a statement that avoids conflict with the conscious mind.

wealth, prosperity, abundance
beach house
publish, author
wellness, health, balance, healing

This difference is critical. There is no longer a conflict. The conscious mind is now in line with the impression on the subconscious mind (where all is created) and soon your outer world will take the form of your inner world.

2. Make a statement that represents change in progress.

money and wealth are flowing to me now
the prefect beach house is on its way to me now
my book is being created now
every cell in my body is healing now

The law of attraction is in action at all times and can be harnessed with simple actions and statements that avoid conflict.

The best time to impress these thoughts on the subconscious mind is just before drifting off to sleep and just after waking. This is when your conscious mind is calm, the body is relaxed, and you have a direct link to the subconscious mind.

Speak of only what you want....

If you are not new to personal development then this concept should be old news, but perhaps you have forgotten or a have conditioned behavior that still needs to be replaced with one that serves you.

Speak only of what you want.

If you desire a bigger house to live in then do not speak of how small your current house is, but speak only of having and enjoying a bigger house.

If you are looking for the perfect mate then do not speak of all the losers you have dated, speak only of your soul mate and that you know they are on a path to find you too.

If you want more qualified leads to call you back then do not speak of all the unqualified leads that did not call you back, speak only of the people who have a burning desire to find you for the opportunity you will offer them knowing it will change their thinking about the life they have created forever.

But a nugget of common truth applied in one area can create an enormous result in another; this area being your health.

If you are overweight, then do not speak of how hard it is to lose weight or how fat your butt is, speak only of enjoying a perfectly formed healthy body that responds precisely to your desires every time.

This is a steadfast rule in my practice.

When a patient comes in to the office the first thing I ask is, "How are you feeling?" The patient gets to spend one minute explaining there pain or problem and that is it. I get to work identifying areas of need and begin telling them how wonderful their body is at rejuvenating tissues and repairing damaged and neglected areas.

They are then instructed to use a technique to acknowledge their physical issue and emotion attached to it, accept the physical issue as something they created, and then use this technique to release the emotion and re-program the body to create a new reality of health.

From this point forward the patient is not to speak of their ills to anyone, but only of their newly established health and wellness.

The mind can and will have dominion over the body. This being true the mind can be used to heal the body, perfectly, every time.

OK Here is my story!

I have been in private practice as a successful chiropractor for 13 years and have seen many patients turn their health around by changing their thinking. I too am a perpetual student of personal development and have taught many classes on the topic including using the movie The Secret in our workshops. So as you can imagine when Liberty League International and The Beyond Freedom Course crossed my path there was nothing to ponder...I was in! What could be better than to share a comprehensive program with the world on a larger scale than what I was already doing!

The fun part of my story is how the universe worked so quickly to put me in Rome, Italy. I made a Mind Movie with a picture of the colliseum with the title I TRAVEL A LOT.

One week later I was invited to the Summit Conference in Rome, Italy and there on the ad was the same picture of the coliseum as in my movie!!! I told my friend I would think it through over the weekend, but in my mind I had decided I WAS going. The universe put this all together in a week and this is what I teach, I MUST act!!! I just needed to be creative in telling my husband at short notice. The trip was two weeks away!

Well before the weekend was over, I called my friend and said "YES! I am in! Let's go to Rome!" I bought my airline ticket immediately.Then, I picked up the phone and called my husband and said the following, "Honey, I was invited to Rome, Italy to check out the LLI Summit Conference. I have accepted, purchased my ticket, and I am leaving in two weeks. I hope you can support me on this."

Now, I do not recommend that everyone try this. Uhhhh...yes I do! Some relationships may not weather this kind of call to action when the universe lines something up for you. But ask yourself, how long are you willing to continue to deny yourself of your desires because of another human being, even if it is your spouse. I know that is a bold statement. But, it is what it is! This was something I had to do for me!

My husband's response was, at first, silence and then "Well, OK then...you are going to Rome!"

My trip to Rome for Summit was all that I expected and more! I intended to meet every leading self made millionaire possible. I think I to meet most of them! Of over 1000 people, approximately 1/3 are self-made millionaires and the rest are on their way to becoming millionaires.

These people are now my mentors in a business of integrity and purpose that I am proud to be part of. I love to teach people how to think differently to experience a different reality, whether it has to do with the health of their body or the growth of their mind. The body is a metaphor for life. Most of what is hurting you physically started with a thought that can be changed. This personal development product demonstrates this and more. That's my story...the rest has yet to be written.....the sky is the limit!

What message are you sending?

How many people actually read books on quantum physics, mechanics, theory, etc. as pleasure reading over a juicy romance novel? That screams "total geek" just saying it. My eternal quest for understanding the unknowable has lead me down some interesting pathways of thinking and to the book called "Molecules of Emotion" written by a research scientist, Candace B. Pert, Ph.D. Dr. Pert was featured in the film What the #$*! Do We Know!?. I was pleased to find this little gem just jumping of the shelf at me and could not put it down. I wanted to learn how the scientific community was going to try to explain the "unknowable" in their traditional jargon that leaves no room for that which cannot be detected, captured, quantified and crucified by the primitive all knowing "scientific model." Yes, I wanted to see how they, the scientists, explained away the unknowable as unscientific nonsense. However, this is not what I found. Deep into the Chapter one review of ligands, neurotransmitters, steroid hormones, peptides, and receptor sites, I realized the magnitude of courage it took to publish a book which challenges the status quo of the scientific community. Thank you Dr. Candace B. Pert, Ph.D.

Some of us are listening and message does matter! Every molecule in our body responds to the messages we are putting out by thought, word, language, etc. This is a fascinating insight to what ails us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. What message are you sending your cells with the thoughts you think and the words and phrases you choose to write, speak, read, or listen to?

Do you want to change your experience??? Then, change your thoughts and words used to express them.

My family recently played a little awareness game in our home that really revealed the backward-creation that we were allowing by the words we chose to speak in everyday conversation. We heard this concept on a teleconference call and made it into a game. We wanted to focus our conversation on what we wanted to create and not on what we did NOT want. My nine year old daughter loved this game and found it very challenging as did my husband. It revealed much about how we create in my family.

Here's how it's played. First, each person gets three clothes pins and attaches them to their shirt, sleeve, collar. Next, if you catch someone saying "not", "no", "don't" in reference to what they are wanting, then you take one of their clothes-pins and add it to your collection. Well, within minutes, my husband had lost all clothespins and was trying to get them back by catching someone saying not, no, and don't, and most importantly changing his thinking and choice of words. We learned a great deal about how we are actually sending out messages of what we do NOT want instead of messages of what we DO want. The universal laws of attraction bring us the experiences we send out in messages, whether we want them or not. Message matters!

This little game made us aware of our attention and expression. It has changed our lives.
